Micromax to play lead role in Indian Smartphone market by Diwali

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax who is now at second in the smartphone sales in fast growing Indian mobile market is expected to beat India's leading smartphone brand Samsung by this year Diwali.

Micromax is having 22 percent market sales while the Samsung is just 4 percent lead than Micromax with 26 percent sales in Indian market according to IDC. India is the third largest smartphone market in the World.

According to IDC India the Indian market has big sales of feature phones and phones which are less than 200 $ with a big screen size.Smartphone manufactures are realizing it very lately since now Samsung is having one such device and Sony having none with above specification below 10,000 Rupees range.

Its taking atleast 8 to 10 month for tier one smartphone manufactures to ready with a device specification where tier 2 companies like Micromax need only a quarter of time release a new model specification.

The reason behind the fact is Micromax is not doing much with Research and development instead they buy their hardware specification from China and Korea make them easier to release a new model in short time comparing to tier 1 companies which need more time for R & D.

The rise of Micromax is revealed by single fact where its get pre order of 11,500 for its Canvas brand with price 18,000 Rs without knowing its specification and price.

Usually Indian market will have big sales in September to November period (Diwali Festival period) on that time Micromax is going to take the driver seat in Indian smartphone sales beating Samsung

Happy Diwali in Advance folks !!!!
